The method of radiofrequency therapy is based on diathermy – treatment with heat generated in tissues when an electric current of high frequency passes through them. Heat enhances blood and lymph circulation, improves tissue nutrition, metabolism, reduces inflammation, pain and relieves spasms, has a calming effect.
